I don't / didn't see any problem with the 'slave movies'?
They're historical, each produced for a specific purpose. Much like World War movies. Is she OK?
I like Nicki don't me wrong, but she doesn't seem very intelligent.

I cried throughout most of 12 Years A Slave. I think anyone with compassion would have.
They educate people. Create anger. Create upset. All for the purpose of education so that it never happens again.
It's not some entertainment value where ALL of us white people watch it laughing, I assure you that.
