For more than two hours testifying before the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday, John G. Stumpf expressed regret that Wells Fargo had created as many as two million bogus bank and credit card accounts without its customers’ consent. He apologized for failing to stop the illicit behavior sooner, and vowed to make amends.
Quote:
“Have you returned one nickel of the money that you earned while this scandal was going on?” asked Ms. Warren, Democrat of Massachusetts. “Have you fired any senior management, the people who actually oversaw this fraud?”
“No,” Mr. Stumpf answered.
Ms. Warren added: “Your definition of accountability is to push this on your low-level employees. This is gutless leadership.”
This is why you're supposed to regularly check your credit scores and credit reports. Of course you wouldn't expect a legitimate bank - not to mention one of the big four - to orchestrate fraud, but you'd expect this from hackers. I'm only a student and I'm extremely careful with my finances.

Your money would still be there tho. And good luck booking that stage you speak of when your money's not gaining any interest
I have a money market account with ScottTrade, which i use to invest in a few stocks (not a lot since I'm a poor gay) but trust me my finances are taken care of. Thank you for the concern tho!
its the corporates fault! the big guys of wells fargo always blame it on the lower branches of power, like the branch managers, store managers, tellers, etc!
