I've been banned for a while after feuding with some katycats, so I have yet to give my thoughts. Perfect Illusion is a good song but a bad single choice, unless it really is the most mainstream pop song on the album. I just can't see it connecting well with the general public which is really unfortunate because you can tell gaga really cares about the song. Looking forward to the video tonight though. As far as the album I have a feeling we'll be getting really strong late 1970s and 1980s new wave/synth rock vibes, considering she's covered the talking heads before with mark Ronson. I find it really amazing that her and bobby really aren't doing that much stateside promo for perfect illusion perhaps they really don't care about chart success anymore which is sad because it's not like LG is a has been who isn't capable of getting another top 10 hit- she just needs proper promotion. It's not like Gaga is trying to make a madonna level confessions on a dance floor type of comeback, although in the future when gaga's 50 i definitely see her doing a Hung Up/Believe type of smash pop record.
If she doesn't get a snapchat filter for the album cover when this drops she's missing out on a HUGE opportunity. I can already see girls everywhere posing with the big pink hat
