No, but wow. More proof that streaming is a good thing.
To one of the points brought up in this thread: I imagine that, for new artists, getting your album in physical and getting stores to put it up for sale is much harder than getting Spotify to host your album. Also, people are less likely to buy your album if you're not getting played on the radio and getting publicity via talk shows/award shows/advertisements, but if they see an indie artist in a 'recommended' playlist, they may give those artists a chance, become big fans, and end up seeing them live and maybe buying merch and stuff if they get to that point. I still can't @ how vilified streaming is.
