Alexis Arquette's immediate cause of death was cardiac arrest, but she was also living with HIV for 29 years ... according to her death certificate.
TMZ obtained Arquette's death certificate, filed in L.A. County, and it says she had a bacterial infection of the heart for 3 weeks before she died of the heart attack on Sept. 11.
According to the doc, she had been battling HIV ... which confirms a People report she'd been suffering for a long time.

Actually, his family said he had decided to de-transition and was considered a male toward the end of his life. So, you're wrong.
She's genderfluid according to her brother. which is why she put out some media like "She's My Brother." To the public, though, she only came out as a trans female, so unless you're her family, call her a female.
That is so sad. It's amazing she was able to live such a long, successful life, though.
