this is really all so confusing and contradicting, and idk what they really are planning, let's just wait and see

it's not twitter account, its owner of the propagaga and memeber of another forum. they are realible, and he isn't saying info in a way to get attention but rather in casual conversation with people over there on forum. He has some connections or something

Have you seen her SXSW Keynote interview? Or that interview where she says she didn't want to endorse certain things or perform at certain events? Both are pretty consistent to what she's being doing since the GUY era

so she will promote but won't force herslef to do spots she isn't comfortable with?

But what could such events be?

I guess Troy, and others in the music industry, really ****ed with her during the ARTPOP era and now certain promo spots make her uneasy

I think she's finished putting on the pop girl show - promoting here, promoting there, selling her music alongside Pizza Hut deals...I suppose if it isn't organic she won't do it

I'm not bummed at the idea of Gaga not "promoting" the song, I'm more bummed that it means we won't have as many (if at all) performances from her to enjoy.

The performances were always my favorite part of the era. She gave so much artistry for each show. To not have that is...disappointing...

Sure the rise in the charts were fun but not nearly as fun as the performance itself.

I really hope that she'll still do performances even if she wont "promote." Avril Lavigne, even in her biggest peaks, wouldn't do that many interviews, but would play the songs on late shows. I'll take that if it means watching Gaga belt the hell out of PI...

maybe she didn't like vma cause they scrapped her concept?

Gaga's goal is to flop out of the 'pop star' label, so she can be a credible 'indie' person, like all of the artists she idolizes lately?

It's interesting that she appeared the Oscars, which is full of fakery as well. Maybe she feels more comfortable around that crowd since they embraced her, whereas I don't think the music industry understands Gaga as an artist.

When has this ever worked? Has it? Going from mega superstar to acclaimed indie act?
