They are simply not going to top it so idk why they are trying. But I guess we'll see.

EDIT: Just watched the trailer. Wayyyyy to much gore in the trailer alone, completely missing the entire point of what made the original so perfect.

No doubt I'll still be giving it my coins but my expectations have been significantly lowered.

I hate/love this. I hate it because The Blair Witch Project is simply one of the best horror movies made in all time. Book of Shadows alone ruined the whole concept surrounding the original, let alone a third installment made almost 20 years later.

But I'm totally going to see it, although I'm expecting nothing.

This is a solid 9/10 movie to me. Some of the jump scares made me scream out loud in the theater and that hasn't happened since the first Paranormal Activity. There are just a few scenes I could have done without, like the tunnel scene at the end.
