for real. Especially with this current ****-show of an election. I think he was an amazing and very overlooked president in terms of what he accomplished. I think his legacy will become legendary in hindsight. Both he & the excellent first lady have a lot to be proud of.
Me too!! I hope the Birther is NOT this man's replacement. They are so cool, intelligent, nice, classy and kind!
Can you imagine Trump or even Hilary comforting the victims after Sandy Hook and the church shooting?
I'll miss them. All the candidates this year are awful and we're stuck with a liar and a psychopath so hopefully congress sees that neither of them are fit to run the white house and keep Obama in for 4 more years..
I'll miss having a black man in office since it might not happen again for a long time + it'll feel weird with him not in office, since I did literally grow up with him as the president.
Being realistic though, Hilary won't be any different. They both have the same positives and negatives about them, really.
Me toooooo when I was learning about slavery and civil rights etc it is ASTONISHING the fact that there is a black man as a president. Not to mention a dark-skinned black woman as the First Lady. Progress... although we've got a long way to go, we've come so far... I'm so proud of him and our community. He is evidence that you can make it if you really want to. But he deserves to rest and so does his family. Seeing a black man and a woman (hopefully) as presidents back-to-back is also politically, socially and historically groundbreaking and life-changing
