They think Allah is the **** and god is playing at least the Kelly Rowland part in the heavenly Destiny's Child-thing.
So they started the terrorism.
USA (and parts of the world) are now fighting against the terrorism (very low discribtion but I dont want to loose time with recapping the whole 9/11-stuff)
At the begin there was the hate because of religion. Now the Americans want to steal oil, money and the life of a lot of poor people and a hand full of terrorists.
Special Thanks to Mr. Bush Jr. by the way.
You can find the roots of a war in religion. Everytime. In every war. FACT.

I disagree.
I think we saw the first modern political war in the early 1600s which was the Thirty Years War. It changed from religious to political, where you had the Bourbons and Habsburgs fighting for political power in Europe. Those two families were both Roman Catholic so they had no religious rivalries.
I think the most notable example is World War I. The UK and France allied even though one was Anglican and the other was Roman Catholic. The newly unified German Empire, which was at least 50% RC, attacked another RC country, which was France. Religion meant little or even nothing in WWI.
Arguably one could say religion played a role in WWII but let's remember that the UK only declared war on Germany because they invaded Poland, not because of their prosecution of the Jewish population.
