It's more like you're using the banning as confirmation bias that there's some inherently dangerous or murderous aspect to this piece of clothing. ISIS banned it because their operatives were being killed by women in it, and they're all about their own expansion (not actually adhering to doctrine or perceived doctrine). It just shows how completely out of touch they are with the vast majority of the Muslim world. Them banning the burqa doesn't validate the banning or enforcement of it anywhere else.
