I really like Te Amo. I think this song is suited to her voice more than some of the other songs on Rated R, so she should be able to showcase her voice best for this performance.

Not really, in Photographs her voice is softer than it's usually is. And judging from past performances, her voice isn't that much of a soft
This doesn't mean that it's a single. Remember she performed "Mad House" and "Wait Your Turn" on television back for the AMAs. (Instead of "Russian Roulette," which is what she SHOULD'VE performed.) It's too early to be promoting and announcing the fourth single. "Rude Boy" is still going. Never announce a new single until the current begins to fall.
"Mad House" was just an intro to the performance. It's not even a song. And she performed "Wait Your Turn"/"Hard" (the 2nd single that went to radio the next day). "Russian Roulette" was dead and gone by the AMAs, there was no point in pushing it more in the US. Which is why she went internationally with it, leaving "Hard" for the US.
This can be a success in the US. Like I said ealier, this is most similar to her earlier work which, based on the performance of Rude Boy in the charts, the US consumers are eager to buy. Not to mention that radio will EAT THIS SONG UPP!! =)) I'm excited. Spanish songs for summer ya'll!! Alejandro and Te Amo!!
i honestly think that te amo will flop im UK & US, but i guess that no one can really say. i mean, meet me halfway flopped in the US, and that song was amazing!
I also don't see why some are complaining about it being leaked last year. We saw what happened with 'Beautiful Nightmare (Sweet Dreams)' and that was pretty popular when it was officially released last Summer. Def Jam may be finally using their heads.
