YDKWTD was one of the poppiest songs she had done in in years and it was a really really great tune. I am really stung to this very day that it was treated the way it was.
Cry, on the other hand, is a great song but would never have worked as a commercial single. AOM is a sappy (I mean really, I can't get through this cheesefest, maybe Mariah could have sung this in 1994) but it's catchy.
They should have made YDKWTD the official lead single of MIAM. For a european follow up they had Meteorite in store, the US maybe would have taken better to YM(E) after a hit single.
