But then I see other people doing it too and I'm like, 'Well, you know, it's probably all they've known for so long, so it just kind of makes sense.' "

On Glory:

"Honestly, this is the first project where I've really been hands-on. I was really specific about who I worked with and I've been learning to say no."

And saying no involved Spears breaking free of her usual people-pleaser nature, instead, becoming "really selfish."

"I made sure this album was everything I wanted it to be," Spears explains to the magazine.

i don't mean to be shady, but she's saying she loves what she does and it speaks for itself when she performs? i don't get this vibe at all, i often get the feeling she's uncomfortable or coerced into continuing to perform

I worry about this too, with her being under the conservationship. I find her situation kind of sad. I guess I feel for her. She is under a lot of restrictions.. and I wonder if she gets a voice in all of it.
