The numbers are very underwhelming, but i cant say im surprised.
The GP is still here for Gaga, i think, but i dont think this is the kinda sound they want from her. The song is alright dont get me wrong, but its not my cup of tea and i think a lot of others will agree with me.
That being said, Joanne still can be a success and im still perched on how the rest of the album will sound..!
If she had the star power the monsters say she has, her name alone should have given the song some kind of "headstart" regardless of the quality of the song.
Adele can release a terrible song (which she won't), and stay at number 1 on iTunes for a month at the very least.

OT: When I first heard the song, I had a feeling it wasn't gonna do super well right away. It's been a week and she's only done radio interviews so far, give it time.
The problem is that the GP WAS willing to give her another chance. Hence why PI debuted at #19 on it's first day on spotify. But it's just it seems that they did not like the song after their first listen. idk if they will give her another chance with her second single and listen to it as much as they did PI on the first day but yeah...the 2 year image re branding did work it's just the the public did not like her comeback single. Maybe there will be a change once the mv is released tho. maybe.
She came out with a jarring first single after an underperforming era, it shouldn't be too surprising and I don't think it is to her. It's refreshing to see her put her stuff out there and let it sink or swim on its own.
It hasn't even made its debut on the Hot 100 yet. There have been no televised performances. The music video is not out yet. There's no need to jump to conclusions so quickly.
The iTunes drop isn't great but with the above mentioned promo it could all turn back around. Time, the ultimate truth teller.
