To be fair, she passed on a lot of foreign markets that she had previously visited during the Speak Now World Tour when she was even more anglo-centric (and if I recall, the stats during that time weren't too tragic -- these days she'd obviously outperform those numbers by a significant margin).
Regardless, I've always felt that the "local" drag is such a cop out. At the end of the day she had much better grosses and could have easily milked her popularity for a tour way more profitable -- but for whatever reason she didn't.
