I don't think she was right to ask if they were going trick-or-treating in September

I don't that automatically means you can assume she's a racist.

Please, please, PLEASE fellow black people. STOP with all this seeing racism everywhere. Most people aren't going to know what a tribal outfit or a dashiki is, dolls, and truth be told, THESE black people in the video probably didn't know what it was a few years ago. But now that we have all these police shootings and stuff, NOW we want to run back and read African History and act like West African culture is ours, too, like we haven't carved out our own culture over here. News flash: those Africans DON'T CARE about you and would probably laugh if you came over there with that stuff on and accuse YOU of cultural appropriation. I, as a Black American can't claim African culture as my own any more than I can claim Jamaican or Island culture as mine.
So tired of this faux outrage over nothing. Takes away from the real issues.

I'm not black, but I totally agree with you. I know a lot of non-black Africans who always tell me that Africans don't consider African Americans as actual Africans.
