The interviewer shouldn't have asked that? The question was "Can you talk a little bit about those comments, and perhaps what has changed?" with regard to Trump's 2004 comment about pregnancy being inconvenient for business. Not exactly a hardball question. In fact it should've been asked because he's all for paid leave now so the interviewer wanted to know what changed. If she didn't know she should've just said so or said he evolved on the issue as many people do

And with the rest of those questions well she was put in charge of that policy. If anyone should know about the policy from his campaign it's her. Clearly she's not for sake sex couples getting that benefit if they can't get pregnant but didn't want to come out and say that. But that's her fault for such a policy.

Your father is running for the hardest job in the world and you were entrusted to be a part of that. If you can't handle these questions then that's no good. Shows the level of competency of Trump's campaign

I mean low key they were being annoying and trying to trap her into saying something bad. Its still unprofessional and she and her father seem to not like "tough" questions. She very clearly stated that the child care and maternity leave policies were for women who had just given birth. Gay couples dont give birth so obviously they arent included. Which they need to work on because fathers deserve paternity leave as well.

I agree with you I thought it was an inappropriate question definitely. They were his words not hers. She could've said "ask him" instead of just leaving, though her hanging up is kinda funny .

She actually is on his campaign team but as far as I know she only is in charge of this policy and softening his image which basically means just tell him not to say certain things so she doesn't do much at all.

Honestly I kinda feel for her. She isn't her dad, and she shouldn't have to be giving details campaigning her father's policies.

She's chosen to be a part of the campaign and is drafting policy and was there to talk about it
She was then asked a relevant question about Trump's sincerity because of prior comments he has made that makes one believe he is not. She knew there was no good answer, so she bailed.

The interviewer was very hostile and clearly biased. Thankfully Queen Ivanka had enough dignity to end this unprofessional mess. If something like this happened to Chelsea Clinton we would never hear the end of it from liberal media.
