Tech: Mac: Apple might remove headphone jack from Macbook Pro soon

It would probably have a proprietary adapter just like the one they're coming out for the jackless iPhones.

They could just replace it with a Lightning port. Wouldn't that also charge the new Apple Pencil? Double ended Lightning ports would also charge and sync iPhones and such

Im here for this. Mac has like 10% market share. I don't see that changing. I think its probably going to be USB-C type of solution or a wireless solution.

They should keep the mag safe but add two or three lighting ports and include a double-ended lightning adapter to charge your phone or apple pencil.
