I came into Stand Your Ground while currently being held hostage just to rate Perfect Illusion one star. That's how bad it was. I went into this expecting a generic pop song, and I didn't even get that. The "lyrics" are awful. I put lyrics in quotation marks because I'm not even sure if this song has any. Lady Gaga screams about optical illusions. That's all that happens. It's basically a sermon in the form of a song, and a crappy one at that. There are literally NO redeeming qualities in this song. The production is extremely amateurish, and the singing and creative direction were absolutely abysmal. I had extremely low expectations for this, and it still managed to be disappointing.

This song is a total waste of time and money, and I honestly believe it's the worst song of 2016.
