Honestly, I don't know what to think. Through the first half of the episode, I was like: WTF am I watching?
It was... interesting, but I can't really tell if I liked it or nor, will have to wait for more episodes.

because lily is the real person and maybe she goes back to the farm later in the season when the story is told.
sarah is only the actress.

but this is all so weird.

it's not like the scenes we see in the house are studio takes or something.
there is no need to have sarah and lily play the same role, except for ryan only wanting to give lily any role.

Well Lily is the real person while Sarah is the documentary actor. If our speculation is true, perhaps there will be a twist that Lily is actually dead (after filming the documentary) and weird **** is happening to the documentary cast.

Have you seen documentaries like this in real life? They have actors that reenact what the person on the show is discussing so that the viewers have a better idea of what's going on.

Personally I think it's a waste to have Lily as the person being 'interviewed', unless of course there is a twist...
