Also I think what you guys are experiencing with the "updated Spotify version" is called ear fatigue. It's when you listen to a song too much and the sound quality changes. Sometimes highs sound low, (in this case that'd be her vocals) so it evens everything out and the quality changes. The first time I've experienced that was with Judas.

Yes exactly! Because my iTunes copy and Spotify still sound same
