There are a few minor things wrong with the old UI. In particular the progress bar and the cover art going flush all the way across the screen. That makes it hard to move the progress indicator all the way to the end and all the way to the beginning.

Apple instead decided to shrink the progress bar, and cover art so they align with the volume indicator. Also you'll note that if you click the down arrow just above the cover art, it reveals the screen you were on when you first played the song you are playing in case you want to change songs or go to another area in the music app.

The font is still ugly on the home screen and how do I know I'm in Apple Music? It feels like it needs more work on the overall design.

I honestly kinda like it, but I do wish the transparency was here again. The white is just too much. However, the font and the size of the album cover when playing I think are good changes.

However, you will lose all your stuff but you can back up photos to your iCloud and you should set up your contacts, notes and any other stuff to your iCloud. Any albums/songs you've put on the phone via computer that WERE NOT BOUGHT BY YOU will be gone, so you will have to re-add them.

In artist view, you don't see the artist profile pictures anymore right ?
That was such a strong point for me, this whole new think looks like a fours years old downgrade.

The new app looks hideous on my new 7 plus, especially the now playing screen. Spotify looks much better, which is funny cause I switched to Apple Music last year because I liked its look better. Only thing it has on Spotify is the integration with the iPhone, so idk which service I'll be choosing.
