Don't take my prediction to heart, but from the way everything by him is doing so well on iTunes, he may get numbers really high that no one expected. I'm waiting for Billboard to release their predictions
The lowest sales week for a #1 album in 2010 was last week with Lady Antebellum's album, which sold like 92.000 copies I believe.
But the lowest sales of an album to debut @ #1 in 2010 was Contra by Vampire Weekend to debut with 124.000
The lowest sales of an album to debut @ #1 EVER was Sugarland's Live On the Inside, which sold 76.000 copies that week.
Usher proves you can’t have too many hits.
With three smash singles at Urban radio, “There Goes My Baby,” “Lil’ Freak” and “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home),” the LaFace/JLG R&B star’s Raymond v Raymond album will debut at #1 on next week’s HITS sales chart, sporting a total now pegged at 330-350k, which may even climb higher on anticipation of a busy Easter weekend at retail.
He's selling quite a bit compered to the fact he doesn't have any hits from this album yet .
Congrats to Usher back then that would have been considered a flop but since nobody really buys albums anymore those numbers are fantastic and amazing!
