Come on now. You know those are A LOT different than a phone exploding. Imagine if a Note 7 had exploded on a plane before the ban was announced. None of those problems with the iPhone were life-threatening. 90% of the iPhone exploding cases have been because of people using cheap third-party batteries or chargers.

Bendgate wasn't a big deal until recently when touch disease was discovered. While Apple messed up the design of the 6 and 6+, it's not like they all exploded. If Apple was in the same situation they'd do the exact same thing. It's the only logical thing to do. What company wants their product to cause a death?
