As im sitting here thinking about history it dawn on me and If you really think about it all forms of oppression and discrimination stems off some sort of religious beliefs but why isn't it ever called out? Its usually praise for the good morals or the historical aspect of it but why isn't the flaws ever acknowledge? They are always swept under the rug or ignore or hidden behind political correctness

I don't think so, really.. its a very common practice I feel if the bad is expose than it wont be so common, not sure if im making sense

No offensive but when the last time you ever heard of religion being blame for segregation of schools, or the holocaust or any other discrimination that took place. The actions of the people are always blamed not the belief they were following... its quite interesting!

Uh, it definitely does lol. And also not all christians believe that women don't have a place in leadership positions. Many churches, including my own, have women in pastoral positions even.

Typically Christianity is called out by the left, Islam is called out by the right
