I'm Puerto Rican and sometimes in the hood blacks would refer to me as "Hey what's up N" or "That's my N" and other Ricans would acknowledge them back with the same word, and I remember when J.Lo used the word and the white media (MTV) tired attacking her and Hip Hop artist spoke up for her and African Americans didn't care at all

Literally every time a white person says the N word whether its in a playful way or in derogatory its frowned upon and total chaos breaks loose and the SJW are out in full force but when a latino says it no one cares.. is this a double standard?

The white lady on The Today Show 2 weeks ago said "colored people" and that was consider offensive and it made headlines but I can assure you if she should would of been a latino no one would of cared..

Well I mean many PRs, Dominicans and Cubans are of African decent so there's not really any difference but a boat stop really. Additionally in places like NYC where African Americans and Latinos can often live in the same neighborhoods I guess so that adds an extra layer?

the thing is "Latino" covers many ethnicities, races or whatever, from Indigenous, to African, to Caucasian, etc.
