It sounds like you're either trying too hard or not doing enough. Have you dated around and used the apps? That would likely increase your odds of meeting someone special. Other than that, you probably need to fix your attitude. Saying that you need someone else to "validate" you, for one thing, is unattractive to people and worrisome.
