RIP to the innocent victims that lost their life that day, and RIP to the millions of innocent victims that are still losing their lives to this day because of this event.
Also another thing, I visited the One World Trade center a few months ago and the memorials are gorgeous but the way that they turned it into a tourist destination is gross. People were waiting in line to get tours and go inside the museum...I'm just like. Me and my friend were like this is weird af.
I remember the day like it was yesterday. Parents were picking their kids up from school, when it happened and we had a memorial in our school gym a few days later. The world has changed so much since then. It tore a hole in the country's. So much was lost on that day.
I've just turned 5 that day so I don't remember anything. The only thing I remember about that day is how scared our whole family was because my dad was on a plane during that exact moment. His plane was already descending to SEA-TAC but they were diverted to Vancouver because they have already closed all US airports.

But is that really any different to the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam or the Holocaust Auschwitz museum?
