I honestly liked living in Puerto Rico but I dont think you can generalize Latin America like that. Though I do think people in Puerto Rico (real Puerto Ricans not the ghetto ones that live in the northeastern USA) are more friendly,open, and just like to have a good time. Though imo Mexicans tend to be much more conservative and reserved. Though for the most part Latin America is still a mess so I could see why some people would be put off.

Yes, I'm from the U.S but I've traveled to Mexico and some places are the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Some guys are hot and the food is amazing. I just came back from Guanajuato (google it) and there are 20,000 white Americans/Canadians living there. Life is so much better there too.
