How is that a silly argument? The reason why they're sitting during the national anthem is due to the oppression that people of color face...why is she and other whites upset over not standing during the NA yet doesn't speak out on the/not upset over the oppression POC face?

Who the **** is she to be telling people when how and where they can and can not protest.

They fall out all over this nationalism crap, and yet Congress is not even supporting the first responders with cancer. They haven't even reformed the V.A. We also have completely forgotten about the Afghanistan War which is longest war in U.S. But they love America more than anything. It's all empy platitudes when it comes to them. There is a hell of a lot to protest about. This is just one of those issues.

I dont mind that some people feel like it's important to stand for the National Anthem. That's their right, even though I disagree. But I wish those people would realize it's also someone's right to not stand. I don't get why some are so offended.


Those same people who use the excuse that's its disrespectful to the military don't seem to care that we have so many homeless veterans in this country and healthcare for veterans is terrible.
