I have no issue with it. What always bugged me growing up was the fact that all kids (I'm from Texas btw) had to pledge allegiance to the Texas flag AND the U.S. flag plus have a moment of silence right afterwards. It just wasted good learning time.
I personally don't care for my national anthem whatsoever "God Save the Queen" because the Queen is irrelevant to my life and does nothing for me or those I know that merits me praising her in an official form and when the song plays I tend to hum instead of sing.
I really love the melody though just wish they would change God save the queen to God save the people/land and instead of send her victorious send us
