Yes she used to, but that was when she was on a pretty steady release schedule and never spent too long not being a radio staple. She had a lot of momentum. She's been away from the Pop scene for about 3 years now, so she lost that Pop momentum, which is nothing she can't gain back. And although her return has been anticipated, her long break means that not everyone is going to dive into this song as soon as it comes out.

The only time that has ever happened was Born This Way because of the hype and excessive pre release promotion. Bad Romance, Just Dance, and Applauae really didn't blow up right away and smash. Bad Romance took a month to take off. Applause had a good start in sales, but radio was slow with that too. Give it time
