I don't think so. Mass critics in one article praised the song. There's some that don't understand it and have complaints about her voice, the structure of the track, etc. It's a shame there's a "pop formula" and she must conform to it. If she did that (or even all; everyone's faves) then every song would be the same. Haven't people been trashing the charts as of late, that most songs sound the same? Sia just released two songs that sound alike (not shading, I love her.) Gaga's polarising.

Well, it's true that video always gives songs a small boost. So who knows.
