No one overhyped it. The producers said what they thought of the track. Obviously Mark won't go around and say the song's bad. If they put it out, it's because they were happy of what they did with it, and proud of it, and believe in it.

And there were a lot of positive reactions and reviews, so their job was a success. That's all there is, really.

I hope the whole album doesn't have such overpowering vocals. The instrumental on PI is great but you can't even hear it. We all know she can sing so she doesn't have to do this and there is no point in having such a great production team if we aren't going to be able to hear any of the production

I pray every night that another talented artist like Gaga pops up, because Gaga clearly won't serve quality bops anymore and ARTPOP flopping didn't make Interscope do anything it seems.

Perfect illusion is definitely better than Born This Way but no one melted down back then because she was guaranteed a hit no matter what she put out.
