Listening to her interview the other day she basically said that. She will release a video, she will promo it but she's not gonna acknowledge the success or the lack off. I think after ARTPOP she's done with that. And the sooner the rest of you realize that, the better.
I'm just glad I like the song, cause I'd probably be meltdowning with some of y'all if it weren't the case.
I respect her decision to put the commercial success aside in favour of her artistry, but to give up on everything just like that... It feels saddening after how strong her debut was.

I can't at you guys having meltdowns because a song which has been out for like, two days, is at #2 on itunes. I'm over here bopping to this song, thinking about the video, what the album title might be, the live performances! One of my faves just started a new era and a few flamebait threads and posts on ATRL is not going to spoil my enjoyment.
The thing is that people aren't even being reasonable in either of those threads nor were they in the hdd for artpop. But I honestly can't say some monsters don't deserve it. Especially when you bring everyone else down while they experience their own low moments. I can't really say I feel all that bad.
