What I don't understand is how the critics were praising her operatic Oscar performances, national anthem, TIHTY, tributes etc etc...boasting her and egging her on only to be so ruthless when she gives them exactly what they wanted vocally. They always praise the heck out of growling and stuff but with Gaga they suddenly hate it now when they LOVED it only a few months ago?
The media is so fickle and Gaga falls for their baiting all the time because they present it as a Perfect Illusion. Luckily since C2C I've seen a shift in her so I know that whatever backlash she may face this era, she will be strong enough to over come it and to not care about what the critics or charts have to say. As long as she is satisfied with her evolution and presents us with good enough material that's all that matters at the end.
