Remember how long it took for Gaga to promote Just Dance, remember how she did it? She worked tirelessly for nearly a whole year in 2008, promoting in clubs and visiting radio shows. No widespread appeal to the masses, pandering to the people that can actually turn on the radio and listen to an hour of absolute garbage, from one song to another sounding exactly the same. Same productions, weak lyrics, then there's the performances when 'singers' embarrass themselves.
Gaga has and will always be the underdog. She's not destined to be atop of the charts, she's supposed to be loved by millions who love music, want to party, visit her shows and share positive messages. Not this forum and its petty behaviour.
Why are you making excuses for her? She is no underdog. Not at all.
LOVE the song! I really dig this direction and I hope the album is in the same vein, I don't know about callout scores though, but that's not for a while lol
+ the most recent pop song to feature a key change, is Ariana's "Greedy" (2016).

True, but we were talking about singles. Only risk-takers release their songs with key changes as singles. But "Greedy" will probably be a single at some point in the future anyway. Gaga, her impact.
