the more i listen to it (esp. after hearing the instrumental) the more I realize how she blew an amazing opportunity
if she had created more of a build-up to her vocal I think the end result would have turned out better -- more in line with U2's "With or Without You" -- several verses of progressively more intense vocals climaxing with her "shouting," and then the key change into even more intense notes --
you would have been able to really appreciate the nuances of the production without sacrificing the anger or whatever emotion she was trying to serve throughout it
she really does ruin what she touches. glad I stan for Taylor
even when she has her muddy paws on every single facet of her material (BTW, ARTPOP) there are still several really amazing songs sprinkled throughout the muck
Kevin and Mark will disown the album and drag it, if it gets horrible reviews
