The GP is a different story. I mean, this is gaga's most lyrically relatable song since what? Born This Way? The edge of glory si a good pop songs but the lyrics are not this straightforward and everything on artpop had messy lyrics.

In comparison to her other songs...I don't think its as strong, as much as i like it. repetitive choruses aren't my favourite thing either. I keep listening to it to try and convince myself otherwise.

RedOne also isn't all that, if we can learn one thing from Gaga's career/discography is that she is the driving force. She knows what she wants and for me has basically delivered with this.
RedOne can deliver some great goods, but have you listened to the songs he released/produced the last 12 to 24 months? That will probably answer why she didn't went for RedOne for the lead. the team she worked for, for this single is far superior in their artistry than RedOne ever will be.

You don't like the song and that is fine, wait for the next song and/or the album and enjoy the ride, but wishing someone to underperform just isn't right.
