Are you kidding? They're earbuds. They have to fit in the ear. I guess you want attention so I'll give you some. Where was your pitchfork years ago when earbuds first came out? And do you go on tirades about all small objects?

I'm sure the instructions will say it's a choking hazard anyway. But really, if you care so much about children you're free to go door to door and warn people about something that very few will probably buy.

There are a lot of bluetooth earbuds in the market of all shapes and sizes. 'm not even sure if the best ones are wireless. Most peope I know uses one that has a platform for ears and wires.

Most people don't even read the manual. You are naive if you think the other way.

I mean these could've been basically solved if it had a hole in the earbuds so you could tie it with a customized thread or something like that so you don't just lose it a $159 device and avoid choking fears.

I'm not downplaying that they could be choked on. However, what small object can't be choked on? Even if they had a connection, what's stopping both ear buds and the wire from being swallowed? I suppose if you're lucky the kid will swallow one end first allowing you to pull them out by the cord. Kind of like you have to do with a cat when he gets into the trash and eats the red ring around bologna.

It's not anybody's responsibility to make things safe. Well, there are laws but stupidity isn't covered. If a parent buys these things, it's up to the parent and no one else to make sure it's not swallowed by a kid.
