I don't care for the EarPods but this argument is plain stupid TBH.

Wireless earbuds aren't rational in today's world unless there's a thing that goes around the back of the ear like bluetooth. They'll get lost so easily and are virtually useless. Unlike big headphones, the wires of earbuds have to do with their functionality.

It was Apple who designed it.

That argument won't work considering the airpods aren't toys to begin with.

Most toys have age ranges and strict guidelines.

Unfortunately for Apple, kids or even pets aren't magical creatures who just stay in a corner and that will do nothing if you say so.

Unfortunately for Apple, those airpods aren't like knives, guns or rat poison that you should logically put away in a super secure place and distance so those magical creatures we call kids and pets don't play with it considering the design choice of an airpod is basically asking for its owner infact to very much lose it.

Perhaps if the mothers weren't so lazy, got off their arses and gave their young child parental supervision as well as preventing a child from touching hot surfaces, exposed wires, using safety plugs on sockets, etc then it shouldn't be a problem. I don't see the issue with placing two Airpods in a safe place rather than waste everyone's time with their bitching.

A parent (this incl fathers now) should have common sense on how to look after a child and not be told by "guidelines."

Surely they could strangle themselves with the wired ones? This argument is dumb. And there are LOTS of wireless earbud manufacturers out there who have even smaller ones than this.
