V Moda M100 - seriously the best affordable headphones you can get for modern music.
1. Built like a tank: metal, durable, bendable, can be dropped dropped from 2nd floor and won't break. All while being really light, not too big on ears, and very comfortable even with heavy use for hours.
2. Outstanding sound (wall of fame on innerfidelity), slight bass exaggeration (that's why I said modern music, because you need extra bass for modern music otherwise it will sound flat). If you are looking for classical music headphones, these are still great, but probably not your first choice.
3. Wires don't tangle, detach from both ends, so if you accidentally pulled the wire really hard it won't break, it will just detach from your headphone and you can put it back.
I had mine for almost 3 years now and they still look almost brand new and sound just as great. So happy with them can't recommend enough.
