Because she hasn't announced the album early like she did those times, and she didn't release the singles from those records 5 months out, like it would be if it actually did come out in February. BTW was a little over 3 months before the album, and Applause was a little less than 3 months before the album. It's obvious she's not at all following any of the old ways that she used to introduce and release her eras, so. If you think Gaga and her label would release the single 5 months before the album, while having the first single peak well before the album release and having to bet on the 2nd single being a big hit before the album release (which they wouldn't even be able to release until the beginning of January at the earliest because it's never wise to release new singles during December), while purposefully missing all holiday sales, then I don't know what to tell you, except that's just utterly ridiculous.
