The center, yeah. It's old, historic and nice. But most of the areas outside the center are run down and not exactly what most of the tourists see. The winter can be very cold and again the real Prague outside center, which is expensive and exhausting to live because of tourists. Let's say every area of Oslo is cosmopolitan and English friendly, Prague center plus Prague 2, Prague 6. and the rest are two different worlds. Prague 2 is the international and rich area for living. It has nice restaurants, cafes and also it's the LGBT area. As they say, the more rich and international, the more open minded.
You can reach Vienna, Munich,Berlin by train. Flys are sometimes cheaper and more comfortable.
The food is nice and cheap.
The clothes are expensive.
You will come across many Russians and from time to time you'll become frustrated and say do I live in Russia

Czech people look shy on the outside, but they can be friendly or scarred to talk with foreigners.
