Madonna can finally close the chapter on the custody battle that pinned her and ex-husband Guy Ritchie against each other.

E! News can confirm that after nine months of fighting over their 16-year-old son Rocco Ritchie, the two have come to an agreement. The details surrounding the stipulations have not been released. It is unclear which parent Rocco will live with.

The legal turmoil spans back to December 2015, when Rocco refused to return to the United States despite a court order that said the teenager would return to his mother in New York after being with his director father in London. In the months that followed, Madonna seemingly pleaded with her eldest son for a reconciliation via multiple social media tributes.
