I actually like her look this era. No gimmicks, just the real authentic Stefani.
That's kinda how I'm feeling right now. My biggest problem with AP is that while the visuals were cool and fine, the songs felt empty. She's at her best when there are true meanings behind her songs. Only a few songs on AP had any meaning, like "Gypsy."
Here's hoping the video is like Just Dance: instead of a house party, it's a party in the desert. I just want her to be authentic this era while still having fun.

I don't think so. It's not that deep actually. Gaga is always gonna re-invent herself. Whether it's drastically or not. It's just a natural change for her.

Agreed. We have to remember that Gaga is a character, even though she didn't want to admit this at first because of the whole gimmicky thing which worked for her at that time. Underneath all of the makeup, crazy costumes, and theatrics is Stefani Germanotta. I think she's ready to finally show the world what the real fans have known about her a long time ago. At least I think that's the direction she's heading in.
