It's actually so disgusting at this stage. In my country (Ireland) sexual abuse of kids by priests and abuse of women by nuns was so frequent (even up until the early 00's), that the majority of priests either participated in or knew what was going on and just turned a blind eye to it. They'll even admit they knew and think they did nothing wrong because they were not the ones actually raping kids. But while they knew all of this, they would condemn homosexuality and treat it like a disease and that gays were/are criminals to them.
