She has a few dudes, but when she shines, she really does. She has some amazing solo written songs.

She's competent enough as a songwriter, but compared to her contemporaries, she doesn't match up well. There are many that are much more proficient than her, she is truly a mediocre songwriter. Not terrible, but not great by any means. I've never heard or read lyrics that's she's written and truly been wowed, she's much too overly reliant on cliches. Cloying is a great word to describe her writing style.

I like a few songs of hers like Teenage Dream and This is how we do, but since I'm unsure of her involvement, a 2/10 suffice

She has so many amazingly written songs, even some written completely by herself. She particularly shines with her mid-tempos and ballads, no other pop girl can beat her in that area right now
