You can keep the gross, self-hating thoughts in your ignorant head. No one is taking them away from you or forcing you to have attraction you don't want. But how you go about searching for people to hook-up and be with and the terms you use and how you treat people IS informed by your attraction and can be done in ignorant ways.
Not to mention that masculinity/femininity are constructed and not actually tangible traits and to write off people for them are... questionable and sus in the same way people write off entire other groups of people. Especially with the FACT that gender expression is inherently constructed variant on race and how gay men of different races are taught to see one another.
