Ive felt like its become more of an issue in ten years and its getting worse. Especially the attacks towards feminine men on gay dating sites and blogs, ive seen many of them being told( Why would i go for femininity if i wanted that i would have simply gone for a woman OR We are gays and we arent into women )
That wreaks of internalised homophobia and insensitivity for it does create hate in the community and damages the spirit of others.

It just pushes super unrealistic beauty standards onto gay men and it marginalizes feminine men, men of different body sizes, and most often gay men of color.

Not saying Masc4Masc is right or wrong but this was always a dumb statement. Western society says that masculinity is a certain way, as is femininity. The majority of people fall into either category based on their gender. A gay make is attracted to other men, so it isn't out of the norm that they would be attracted to masculinity. Not being attracted to femininity, which most women portray isn't being sexist. You aren't attracted to a female so why would you be attracted to a male with similar traits? At what point do we stop telling gay men that have gone their whole lives being told what they like is wrong that what they like is still wrong? Stop policing attraction and sexuality because it's borderline homophobic.
